Electric Power Design Institute/Engineering Companies always use AutoCAD software and Microsoft Excel to design. However, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, etc. such electronic documents cannot build multiple relationships among the finished products, cannot realize the inspection and unity among the data, and during the design process, not only work inefficiently, but also make stupid mistakes, cannot satisfy the design requirements. Due to the rich experience of exploring chemical/petrochemical self-control software, combined with actual needs of the Electric Power Design Institute, we explored "Instrument Design Management Software-INPower2000", gaining successful application in the electric power design industry field. INPower2000 is a thermal regulator professional design platform based on the database. The software implements the design objectives of “data input once and automatically update”. Learning from foreign control software design thoughts and the latest advanced development technology, and fully considering the differences among the design institute, the software is flexible enough to suit any design institute.
